Financial Giving
Did you know that 75% of our funding comes in small donations from individuals just like you? That's why we are very much in need of financial gifts to fund Colby's Army annual fund and programs. No amount is too small and every little bit helps people through outreach, and through interactions with animals and nature. Checks can be sent to PO Box 90464, Nashville, TN 37209, or donate online with either your credit or debit card, or your Pay Pal account. Thank you for your gift!

Homeless Outreach

The items we give homeless men and women give them the dignity of having a bar of soap or a washcloth, a clean pair of socks, a meal, or a simple band-aid. Plus, it is about far more than the gift of food and supplies. Our outreach volunteers identify homeless, establish trust, then work to get them services they need that lead to health care, housing, and even employment. In some instances, we also deliver furniture and household supplies to people who have recently moved in to housing, and have a few formerly homeless riding with us in our therapeutic riding program. Some even volunteer with us!!!

Please help by donating:

Nonperishable food items that do not have to be cooked

New or gently used backpacks in good condition

Supplies such as stocking caps, gloves, washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shoelaces, soap, shampoo, conditioner, chapstick, hand lotion, sunscreen, bug spray, nail clippers, foot powder, antibiotic ointment, band-aids, granola bars, plastic bags of all sizes, sunglasses, ball caps, combs, hairbrushes, watches, car/auto coffee mugs with tops (or bicycle water bottles), tarps, wipes, hand sanitizers, face masks, can openers, tents, sleeping bags, etc.

Also needed: Flat screen TVs, and new or gently used laptop computers or tablets with wireless capabilities to give to our newly housed.

Colby’s Army cannot accept any product that contains alcohol, such as mouthwash, or any product that might serve as a weapon, such as a razor or pocket knife.Thank you.

Please empower others and help us by mailing your new or gently used backpack(s) and supplies to:
Colby’s Army , 1394 George Boyd Road, Ashland City, TN 37015
At this time, we cannot accept items that are sent COD.

If you know of anyone who has access to large numbers of backpacks, such as a retail store manager or a backpack manufacturer, please let them know about us. All donations are fully tax-deductible according to applicable laws and a donation to Colby’s Army of slightly damaged or older model backpacks may be a better economic solution for a business then remaindering them.

If you belong to a church, school, youth or other group, collecting backpacks or other needed items for Colby’s Army is a wonderful community service project that will make a difference in the lives of many.

We also need a printer or print company who will print cloth stickers for us that we can put on items that identify them as being from Colby’s Army. And we’d love to partner with stores or manufacturers who can provide bulk donations of products to go inside the backpacks. For more information, please contact us.

Ove the years, we have given away tens of thousands of items. It is a simple thing to provide food, clothing,  toiletries, etc., and this tiny act of kindness provides more comfort and dignity than you could ever possibly imagine.
