WHAT WE DO

Colby’s Army is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aids people with mental illness and addiction, helps the environment, and assists with the welfare of animals.

PEOPLE

If you know someone who is abusing drugs or alcohol, or who has a mental illness, we offer resources for help. We have established a sponsorship at Grandpa’s House, a nonprofit organization that helps men with addiction and mental illness, and will soon offer additional help for people and organizations whose goals are to help the addicted and the mentally ill.

Colby’s Army also encourages every person to respect others, no matter what their color, shape, size, age, what they look like, or what their life circumstances are. Every person deserves respect unless they act in a manner that is undeserving of it.

We believe in the concept of paying good deeds forward. Acknowledge the nice things others do for you, and then go do nice things for others, as long as it doesn’t put you in danger. We are all a community here on Earth, a family. Sometimes the smallest bit of assistance can make the biggest difference.

ENVIRONMENT

In the area of the environment we teach people how to leave the Earth in better shape than they found it. We encourage everyone to clean up after themselves, avoid littering, to conserve resources, and only use what is needed. Additionally, we help people and organizations whose goals are to conserve the Earth’s natural resources.

ANIMAL CARE AND WELFARE

In the area of animals, we give people educational resources for their care. Our goal is to teach everyone to be kind to animals. Animals are living beings who are here to help us, and they deserve your love. We also help people and organizations whose goals are to further animal care, education and welfare.

SUMMARY

In short, we here at Colby’s Army care about all living things. Truly care. If you care, too, you can become a soldier in Colby’s Army. We will give you the tools to help others and in Colby’s words, “affect positive change.” Together, we will change the world.
